  • these shots were taken as we were outside of fort lauderdale, florida. the new iphones have a setting on the camera called HDR, and what it does is take three different exposures of the same image, and combines them to give you the highest quality photo. the color is automatically corrected for you, and it gets the right exposure, so you don’t get blown out highlights, or untrue colors. it’s pretty cool. the only thing is that you have to hold it really still, or you get ghost images in the details of your photos. it’s hard to explain, but anyway, these were taken with the HDR setting, while moving along the highway in the barn, so the camera was not held still at all. but i love how they have a smudged look to them, almost like a drawing done in pastels or chalks. so here’s a distorted look at a florida sunset.
